We are delighted to announce that Jaymeson Pegue has become Of Counsel to Gladstone Weisberg

Jaymeson was a key member of our trial team in the recent House of Cards litigation, in which the firm secured a defense verdict for Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company after a five-week jury trial. In that matter, Media Rights Capital sued Fireman’s Fund claiming that Kevin Spacey’s exit from the Netflix hit show House of Cardswas due to sickness and that it was entitled to payment under an entertainment insurance policy’s cast coverage.

Jaymeson’s depth of experience in insurance coverage, bad faith defense, mediation, and complex litigation adds significant strength and capacity to Gladstone Weisberg’s litigation practice and further enhances the firm’s ability to serve clients in sophisticated coverage, entertainment, and commercial disputes.

Jaymeson is also a certified mediator and has written and spoken extensively on insurance and litigation issues. Her publications and presentations include contributions to Thomson Reuters and American Bar Association publications, as well as presentations to legal and insurance industry organizations.

Jaymeson earned her J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where she served on the Moot Court Executive Committee and received the Best Oralist award. She received her B.A., magna cum laude, from Arizona State University. She is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. District Court, Central District, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

In addition to serving as Of Counsel to the firm, Jaymeson will continue practicing with her firm, Pegue & Thompson.
