Over 40 years, Jerry’s practice has emphasized a wide variety of commercial and business transactions for individuals and small to medium-sized companies.

Emphasizing the personal nature of the relationship between the attorney and client, Jerry’s expertise includes corporate formations, real property leases, secured transactions and advising employers about employment law. He prepares employee manuals, conducts harassment and discrimination investigations, negotiates employment and separation agreements and advises employers in a variety of wage and hour matters.

Jerry also has a substantial practice in the area of individual and family estate planning, including estate planning for same sex couples. His individualized estate planning practice includes preparation of family trusts, durable general powers of attorney, advance health care directives, irrevocable life insurance trusts and related documentation. Jerry represents also clients in trust administration and probate matters.

Jerry is AV rated by the Martindale Hubbell peer rating system and has been awarded the Super Lawyer title by the Thomson Reuters organization. Jerry is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Santa Clara, School of Law.
